Every transaction carries a tip to one of the eight FastRelay tip wallets; any one of them is valid.

Tip wallets and the minimum tip

To ensure priority processing, every transaction must include a tip to one of the FastRelay tip wallets. This economic model ensures fairness and prevents spam.

Minimum Tip Amount

FastRelay requires a minimum tip for each transaction:

Minimum (unstaked): 0.001 SOL (1,000,000 lamports)
Staked: less than the minimum above, falling to zero at full stake — your wallet's current figure is at Your effective rate
Recommended during congestion: 0.002–0.005 SOL

Transactions without a valid tip to a FastRelay wallet will be rejected with error code tip_missing.

Note: Jito tips do not count toward the relay tip — a transfer to a Jito tip account and a transfer to a FastRelay wallet are two separate requirements. Single transactions only need the FastRelay tip. Atomic bundles need both: the FastRelay tip (unless your stake has reduced it to zero) and a Jito tip, because bundles are executed by the Jito Block Engine.
