Relay documentation.

FastRelay is an ultra-low-latency Solana transaction relay designed for traders, market makers, and automated systems requiring sub-millisecond dispatch. You submit a pre-signed Solana transaction; the relay delivers it through a leader-aware, stake-weighted pipeline built for landing first.

$RELAY is the relay's utility token: stake it for landing priority over unstaked users, and pay tips in $RELAY at a discount instead of SOL. These docs cover both — the relay's integration surface (live today) and the $RELAY token mechanics (parameters provisional until launch).

Quick start

Send a transaction over HTTPS — the simplest integration path. No API key required:

bash
curl -X POST "https://fra.fastrelay.sh/v1/sendTx" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "tx": "BASE64_ENCODED_TRANSACTION",
    "simulate": false
  }'

The same request from Node.js or the browser with fetch:

javascript
const res = await fetch("https://fra.fastrelay.sh/v1/sendTx", {
  method: "POST",
  headers: { "Content-Type": "application/json" },
  body: JSON.stringify({
    tx: "BASE64_ENCODED_TRANSACTION",
    simulate: false,
  }),
});

const data = await res.json();
console.log(data);
// → { "status": "accepted", "request_id": "…", "signature": "5wH…" }

Note: every transaction must include a tip of at least 0.001 SOL (1,000,000 lamports) to one of the Fast… FastRelay tip wallets, or it is rejected with tip_missing. See tip wallets in the integration guide, and Tips in $RELAY for a full worked example that builds the tip transfer.

For production systems, use QUIC (~0.1ms dispatch) or a persistent WebSocket stream instead of HTTPS (~15–25ms). All three transports are covered in the integration guide.

Relay

  • Integration Guide — endpoints for all 4 regions, optional API keys, tip rules, QUIC / WebSocket / HTTPS examples, Jito atomic bundles, and the full response-code reference.

$RELAY Token

Token parameters are provisional and will be finalized before launch.

  • Staking — lock $RELAY for landing priority; more stake, stronger priority. No yield — the reward is priority and cheaper tips.
  • Tips in $RELAY — pay relay tips in $RELAY at a discount, TWAP-priced against SOL, with a portion of every confirmed tip burned. SOL always works as a fallback.
  • Unstake Cooldown — request, wait out the cooldown (provisional: 7–14 days), withdraw 100% of your tokens.
