Stake $RELAY for priority.
More stake gives your transactions higher priority, a lower tip and a higher rate limit. Staking pays nothing.
Five stake levels, five lanes. The biggest stake flies the inside lane and lands first. Tip and rate are read from the same curve the relay enforces.
What staking buys
Staking locks $RELAY to your wallet. The relay reads it and gives you priority, a lower tip and a higher rate limit. Nothing is paid out.
| Staked | Tip per transaction | Rate limit |
|---|---|---|
| 0 $RELAY | 0.00100 SOL | 5 tx/s |
| 10,000 $RELAY | 0.00084 SOL | 35 tx/s |
| 25,000 $RELAY | 0.00063 SOL | 77 tx/s |
| 50,000 $RELAY | 0.00033 SOL | 136 tx/s |
| 100,000 $RELAY | No tip | 200 tx/s |
The curve is continuous: every token staked moves you along it, with no tiers.
- Your tokens come back
- Unstake whenever you like. After the cooldown, all of it returns to your wallet.
- It pays nothing
- Staking buys access to the relay. It never pays out tokens, SOL or fees.
One billion. Never more.
1,000,000,000 $RELAY exist, and no more can be made. Burns only take tokens out.

The burn
Burned so farReading the chain
- Burned on use
- A share of every tip paid in $RELAY is burned.
- Topped up by buyback
- When usage burns less, revenue buys $RELAY back and burns it.
- Nothing is minted
- Mint authority is revoked. No emissions, no new supply.

Staking, answered
Does staking $RELAY pay anything?
No. Staking pays no tokens, SOL or fees. It buys three things on FastRelay: higher landing priority, a lower tip per transaction and a higher rate limit.
How much stake removes the tip?
At 100,000 $RELAY staked the tip per transaction reaches zero and the rate limit reaches 200 requests per second. Below that, both move along one continuous curve. There are no tiers.
Do I need to stake to use FastRelay?
No. Anyone can send without staking, at the standard 0.001 SOL tip and 5 requests per second. Staking only changes the tip, the rate limit and priority.
Can I unstake?
Yes. Request an unstake in the dashboard, wait out the cooldown, then withdraw all of your tokens. Tokens in cooldown stop counting toward priority straight away.
Can more $RELAY ever be minted?
No. Supply is fixed at 1,000,000,000 and the mint authority is revoked. Burns reduce the total; nothing adds to it.
